Supervision of installation
Apart from the installation of our own masts, we offer independent monitoring of the installation of measuring masts and the measurement chain, because a power production estimate is based on reliable upstream measurements and input data.
Our intervention is not limited only to the detailed documentation of the sensors, their orientation, their height and the monitoring of the correct execution of the entire installation but we support our customers and the installation team already during the planning of the measurement campaign so that all elements of the measurement chain meet the requirements of standard IEC 61400-50-1 ed.1 (Wind energy generation systems - Part 50-1: Wind measurement - Application of meteorological mast, nacelle and spinner mounted instruments, 2022-11) as well as the recommendations of the WMO (World Meteorological Organization: Guide to Meteorological Instruments and Methods of Observation, 2008) and the IEA Expert Group Study 11 ed.1: Wind speed measurement and use of cup anemometry, 1999.
Our service includes a complete report with photographic documentation of the progress of the construction of the mast and the instrumentation until their commissioning. The chronology of key stages before and during construction as well as possible problems encountered during construction are part of the documentation. In addition, we report observations that we consider useful for a future wind power project and we document the surroundings of the site.

Our monitoring and documentation include all the elements necessary for good data exploitation, and much more!
